My Life as A White Trash Zombie

My Life as A White Trash Zombie - Diana Rowland I decided to take a bit of time and go through my huge tbr pile. I've been wanting to read this for a while now and I wanted it even before it had a title. Dan Dos Santos showed his newest zombie creation for a book and I couldn't wait to read it. Sadly, it took some time to dive in!

Angel is a self proclaimed loser. She is doing everything she can to flush her life down the toilet. She isn't a bad person, but just hasn't had a life full of support or kindness. One night she finds everything has changed. She gets a new job from a mysterious benefactor and has a strange craving for brains. Instead of freaking out, she figures out what is going on with her and really changes her life around. Her new job in the morgue helps her get what she needs and also provides her with a way to help expand her own brains a bit. Yep, it took dying for her to finally "get it" and treat herself with respect.

I enjoyed this tale of a zombie girl who found what she was missing in life. There was a couple of mysteries. One I figured out toward the end, but he other mystery was a bit of a twist for me. I give this zombie tale 4 stars and recommend it to those that normally don't like zombies but do like UF or even mysteries. I can't wait to dive into the next one. Yes, you can say I'm a bit hungry for it. ;)
